Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Nice & Easy
Residents enjoyed a morning of entertainment from 'Nice & Easy'. Residents really enjoyed the show they put on!
Chinese New Year
Residents at Werrington Lodge enjoyed a Chinese meal to celebrate Chinese New Year. Chopsticks were given out, along with fortune cookies and red envelopes with lucky coins.
Music and Movement
We host regular Music & Movement sessions, which residents really enjoy. Resident, Una, and her granddaughter can be seen enjoying themselves above.
Singing and Dancing
We love a sing and a dance here at Werrington Lodge and our staff especially love to get involved as you can see from the photo!
Christmas at Werrington
We were joined by our local church's choir, who sang some Christmas carols for residents. Staff all had a lot of fun with residents and family members at our Christmas party. Residents made some Christmas wreaths, which we put on display around the home, and we also enjoyed a visit from Santa and his little helpers, who delivered presents to everyone on Christmas Eve.
Afternoon entertainment
We were joined by entertainer, Nick, for an afternoon of musical and fun recently. The residents sang along to all the songs and had a wonderful afternoon.
