Braeburn Lodge Care Home in Peterborough

This exceptional care home is located in Deeping St James, in the South Kesteven District of Lincolnshire. The area is steeped in history and is mentioned in King Williams Doomsday Book, it is rich in archaeological sites covering all periods from Neolithic to Saxon and Norman times. Through this area flows the River Welland and the village now has an array of eateries from your local traditional village pub to gastro cuisine and an award winning fish and chip shop.

The home has been specifically designed to provide high-quality residential and nursing care to the elderly, including those individuals living with dementia including Alzheimer's disease.

Nursing and residential care

Our home provides first-class residential and nursing care in a warm, homely and friendly environment. Our team of qualified and dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of residents and are committed to providing professional and respectful care with the resident at the heart of everything they do.

Dementia care

The home has a dedicated area which we call our Memory Lane Community. This provides high-quality care for people with dementia. Within our community, memory boxes with small reminders and items such as photographs will be used to help each person reminisce. Features such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low-risk walkways and activity kitchens also enable people to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures. Essential to our homely feel is the enhanced relationship of trust we build with family, friends and residents.

Our luxurious facilities combined with highly trained staff ensure each and every individual is given superior attention. Our 24-hour care is provided in a warm, welcoming setting, with delicious meals and daily activities.

For more information on this luxurious purpose-built care home please call us, we will be more than happy to assist you.

Hi, my name is Jane, and I am the General Manager here at Braeburn Lodge. Welcome to our website!

I have been working in different roles since the home opened in 2014 and, more recently, as the Deputy Manager and then as Acting General Manager. I am looking forward to supporting the team to deliver the very best care and life enrichment to all our residents.

We have built a very strong community engagement team at the home and have fantastic local support, which has enabled the home to establish robust community connections.
