The Cedars Care Home in Bourne
Cedars Bourne is a beautiful and spacious care home in the scenic market town of Bourne, Lincolnshire, surrounded by mature gardens with views of The Bourne Abbey Church. Our home offers high quality residential and nursing care in a warm and friendly environment.
There are 55 bedrooms across one residential unit and one nursing unit. Spacious lounges, dining rooms and quiet areas are situated in each wing of the home. There are also picturesque grounds: the meandering Bourne Eau river flows through the garden and there is a sheltered decking area, which is perfect for outdoor socialising and enjoying the garden.
Trained chefs cook a variety of nutritious and tasty meals to provide residents with appealing daily menus, with personal preferences and individual dietary requirements always being considered.
Our activities team oversees a busy programme of events, planned with input from residents and relatives, to ensure everyone's social needs are being met and exceeded. There are daily in-home activities, as well as regular excursions and big events for special occasions.

Hello. I’m Katya, General Manager of The Cedars in Bourne. Welcome to our website!
I trained as a Registered Nurse and have gained experience in many aspects of nursing over the years. I joined Barchester in 2002 as a nurse and have worked at our other home in Bourne since then.
I have enjoyed progressing my career with Barchester, by becoming Head of the nursing community and then General Manager. I am delighted to now be working at The Cedars Bourne as General Manager.
I am proud to have received Barchester’s Register Nurse of the Year award in 2013. I am passionate about making sure every one of our permanent and respite residents receives the care they need in a lovely homely environment.
I oversee the training and skills of our nursing, care, activities and catering teams, so we can provide all the care, information and peace of mind that families need.
I welcome you to get in touch to arrange to meet me and view The Cedars.Get in touch Meet my team
