Rebecca Aldred

General Manager

Hi, my name is Rebecca, and I am the General Manager here at The Cedars. Welcome to our website!

I was a nurse for many years working as a district nurse before starting at The Cedars Care Home in 2009 as a night sister, then progressed to Deputy Manager, and in 2019 became the General Manager.

I love working in a care home environment and I love our home. I am very proud of the high quality care we deliver, along with my dedicated and supportive team. Everything we do we do is from the heart and our total focus is to enable our residents to live enriched lives for as long as they can, supporting them to be as independent as possible.

Kristel Bingley

Deputy Manager

I joined The Cedars in 2000 and worked my way up to Senior Carer. In 2008, I left to carry out my nursing training and returned as an RGN in 2011. I was very proud to have progressed to Deputy Manager in June 2019, and am passionate about delivering a high standard of care to our residents.

Clare Baxter

Administrator Assistant

I have worked here for the last 7 years. I absolutely love my role and enjoy the interaction with residents and relatives. I am here to answer any questions you may have!

Dawn Parrott

Activities Coordinator

Hi my name is Dawn and I’m an activities coordinator here at Cedars. I have worked here since 2007, I was a level 3 carer for 9 years and then moved onto activities where I have found my passion, I enjoy making and seeing g the residents live their lives to the fullest every single day. My hobbies include walking my two little fur baby’s and having nice holidays in the sun.

Rich Parrott

Head Chef

Hi, my name is Rich, and I have been a chef since 1982. I trained in the navy and have never looked back! I have worked in a variety of settings.

Robert Bright

Maintenance Manager

I love what I do and I have many years’ experience working in the building trade. I have been a team leader and managed similar establishments with their maintenance needs.

I am married with 2 grown up children. I have a real passion for football and used to coach Arsenal Youth team.

Donna Claydon

Head Housekeeper

Since joining The Cedars team in 2013, I have always taken pride in delivering high standards. I always provide a high quality service to residents. I enjoy working closely with all staff members and putting the residents and their families at the forefront of everything I do. The Cedars is a great place to be and I love our home.
