Wood Grange Care Home in South Kesteven
Wood Grange Care Home provides high quality 24-hour nursing and residential care, as well as expert care for people living with dementia, in a warm and friendly environment. Our approach to care is based on person-centred care planning and our belief in independence, dignity and choice. As with any Barchester care home, we also pride ourselves on our hospitality, elegant and comfortable surroundings and excellent food and drink.
Our Memory Lane Community is specifically designed for people living with dementia and aims to provide research-based care and stimulation in a secure environment. The community has been furnished with memorabilia from the 1940s, along with the use of personalised memory boxes to aid reminiscence. We even have a reconstruction of a steam railway platform from Bourne Station!
Our purpose-built home is located on the River Glen in the historic town of Bourne. Why not pop in or arrange a visit to Wood Grange and experience all we have to offer for yourself?

Hi, my name is Katya, and I am the General Manager here at Wood Grange. Welcome to our website!
I have the honour to lead the team and serve the residents here at Wood Grange. I understand that taking the step of choosing a care home can be a difficult and emotional decision, so myself and my team are here to support you.
I have been working for Barchester since 2002 and have been in the nursing profession since 1986. I started my journey and career at Barchester as a Senior Care Assistant and worked my way through various roles throughout the years. I realised that there’s nothing more important to me than making people happy; sometimes it can be the simple things that help, like making them feel heard and valued.
I strive to make every day special and different to yesterday for all residents, and I feel proud to be part of their lives and share their memories.
I was named as 'Nurse of the Year' at the 2013 Barchester Care Awards, which is one of my greatest achievements and a very proud moment.
Ensuring peace of mind for all relatives is one of my greatest objectives; it is imperative that they know their loved ones are in safe hands and are in a caring and joyful environment.
The residents are at the heart of everything we do here at Wood Grange, and we think we are perfectly suited to meet your needs now and in the future.Get in touch Meet my team
