Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home

Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Life at Werrington Lodge Care Home

Employee Of The Month

We are proud to announce that Neil has been voted as our employee of the month for January. He has worked hard and unselfishly in our kitchen as one of our most longest serving members of staff. Through tough personal circumstances he has continued to go that extra mile to ensure our residents are well looked after.

Armchair Yoga

Residents took part in Armchair yoga. Everyone enjoyed it. It has many health benefits and some even found their inner peace.

Chocolate Cake Day

Residents at Werrington Lodge celebrated national chocolate cake day and made some delicious cakes for all to enjoy.

,

Chinese New Year

Our residents were treated to an afternoon of delicious Chinese snacks and a meal to celebrate Chinese New Year. They also played some traditional Chinese games.

,

Pamper Day

Our residents at Werrington Lodge love being pampered in our gorgeous beauty salon. First things first, a nice blow and dry from our lovely hairdresser.

Tai Chi

Our residents were treated to their weekly Tai Chi class. Everyone took part to make it an enjoyable and worthwhile exercise morning.
