Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Werrington Lodge Care Home
VE Day Celebrations
Residents and staff at Werrington Lodge made a well deserved fuss of VE Day. There was food and drink aplenty and the scene was set with flags and banners.
Employee Of The Month
Our head of activities 'Kay Windsor' was awarded March's employee of the month. She thoroughly deserved this award as a big thank you for coming into work early and staying late during demanding times. Furthermore, she has helped with duties outside his remit such as helping assist our resisents and supportiing care staff.
Easter Bunny Visit
Werrington Lodge had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny, who put smiles on faces. He also left eggs for the public and our residents.
Easter gifts from Morrisons
A big thank you to Morrisons for the donation of a FREE Easter egg for every resident and staff member. They also gifted Werrington Lodge enough hot cross buns to see us all the way through this pandemic.
Pamper Day
Staff at Werrington Lodge treated the residents to a lovely pamper afternoon. Wash and blow dry anyone?
Thumbs Up at Werrington
All the staff at Werrington Lodge give a big thumbs up and smiles to everyone in these challenging times. The team are working hard, placing the health, safety and quality of life of our residents as absolute priority. But spirits are always high.
