Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Valentine's Day Celebrations
We had a lovely time celebrating Valentine's Day here at Werrington Lodge. The residents got involved in a variety of themed activities and received personalised cards.
Christmas Celebrations at Werrington Lodge
We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas here at Werrington Lodge. Our favourite part of the day was our Christmas lunch, cooked by our wonderful kitchen team!
Hot Chocolate Station
We kicked started Christmas at Werrington Lodge with a Hot Chocolate station with Bailys, marshmallows and whipped cream and of course a mine pie. Tesco at Werrington kindly donated it all to us and as you can tell we loved it all.
Werrington's Christmas Party!
Werrington Lodge had their Residents Christmas Party last week to bring some cheer and celebrate what a year 2021 has been! After not being able to have a Christmas Party last year, everyone really enjoyed dancing and letting their hair down.
Christmas Party like No Other!
Werrington Lodge celebrated yesterday in style at their First Christmas Party! We had entertainment, singalongs and lots of dancing.
We enjoyed some lovely food and drinks provided by our Kitchen. It was so heartwarming to see everyone enjoying all the fun and games.
Werringtons Donations to Change, Grow, Live
Change, Grow, Live is a voluntary sector organisation specialising in substance misuse and criminal justice intervention projects in England and Wales. All of it's funding is statutory-based.
Werrington's Lodge Head Chef, Sharon wanted to get the home involved in this fantastic charity. They all managed to donate lots of warm clothing for CGL. Selena from CGL came to Werrington this Monday to pick it up with Head Chef, Sharon and Resident Ambassador Una.
