Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Advent Calender Arts and Crafts
We had the lovely Jenni from MOJO visit us today who showed us how to make an Advent Calendar. We may be biased but our residents did such a fantastic job and what’s more everyone had an absolute blast doing it. Thank you again Jenni from all our residents and team here at Werrington Lodge!
Festive Minibus trip to Brotherhood and Waterside
We sure are having a super festive time here at Werrington Lodge - complete with a Minibus trip to Brotherhood for a nice hot drink and a little bit of window shopping. And a visit to Waterside Garden Centre to see all the Christmas decorations together and enjoy a delicious lunch out too!
Happy Birthday Connie!
Today we celebrated Connie's 103rd birthday here at Werrington Lodge. This lovely lady is so very kind and considerate, she deserves the world and more. Happy Birthday Connie from Cristina and all of the team here at the home. And a very big thank you to Nice N Easy for such a great show - we all had a fantastic afternoon!

There has been lots to celebrate here at Werrington Lodge of late!
Firstly, our General Manager Cristina passed her CQC registration to be officially recognised as home manager. We are all immensely proud and so very thankful for all that Cristina does for our residents and staff alike. Congratulations once again!
And Sandra - our housekeeper also received her long service award for 10 years with Barchester Healthcare! Thank you so much Sandra for all you hard work - you are a true asset to Werrington Lodge and we feel incredibly fortunate to have you in the team. Thank you so, so much for everything!
A trip to the Pub
Who doesn't like a cheeky Pub Lunch trip out and some time with nature?!? The Ducks sure were hungry too!
Trip to Italy
Residents enjoyed our little trip to Italy today! We had beautiful Italian music, Italian delicacies and of course red wine from Sicily. We were also lucky enough to have our very own Italian speaker Marianna who taught us some Italian phrases.
