Longueville Court Care Home in Peterborough

At Longueville Court, we provide a range of accommodation and services for older people in need of support, from respite care to 24-hour nursing care. The home is located in the picturesque village of Orton Longeuville, on the outskirts of Peterborough, just minutes from the A1. We always welcome visitors at any time, so please feel free to drop in for a coffee and a chat.

Dementia Care

We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.

Our team of highly qualified and attentive staff are focused on the needs of each resident and use bespoke and regularly reviewed care plans. We are passionate about encouraging independence, dignity and choice for all residents and keep up the Barchester tradition of providing high quality hospitality, cooking and activities. Our activities coordinators work hard to build extensive activities programmes that include regular day trips and visiting entertainment for residents and their families to enjoy.

Louise Haigh-Walsworth

General Manager

Hi, I am Louise, the General Manager here at Longueville Court. Welcome to our website.

I qualified as a nurse in 2009 and began my career in acute medicine in Yorkshire. I then moved to London where I gained a wide range of skills and experience working for a nursing agency across the city for 4 years. After that I moved to Peterborough and joined Longueville Court as a nurse in 2016. I was promoted to Unit Manager of our Young Disabled Persons' unit, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I then became Clinical Lead, and in 2019 was promoted into my current role of Deputy General Manager. Residents and staff here at Longueville Court are incredible and make each day enjoyable.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and jetting off to see various parts of the world. I am also an avid supporter of Leeds United football club.
