You have been looking after the lovely Brenda for a couple of months now, so we just wanted to say thanks to all the nursing staff and HCA's on Robin Unit who have all given her excellent care. But special thanks go to the superb care she has received from Victoria and Saliya who have shown her true empathy, thoughtful care and kindness. It has not gone unnoticed.

"We have visited our friend for nearly two years. The cake and coffee at reception is a superb touch. Todays coffee & walnut was exquisite and the best cake so far as moist, fluffy and topping delightful"

"This review is dedicated entirely to the angels who work in Skylark. My darling dad was a resident for six months, until his recent passing, and we were consistently blown away by the care provided by Dani, Simi, Ester, Rose, Nanita, Mimi, Victoria....and the rest of the team. Lovely Denise on reception also deserves a mention. They do a job many would not want to do, but they do so cheerfully and compassionately. I was deeply moved by how caring they were (being so calm with my dad, telling him that they loved him when he was agitated and their tears when he passed). I genuinely don't know how they do what they do and remain so lovely. On another matter, getting in and out of the building out of hours was often a pain, more so if I was with my elderly mum, often waiting outside in the cold for 15 minutes or so with her while we waited for someone to let us in. I suggest a security guard is on the door, out of hours, to make it easier to get in and out."

"The care provided for my mother, who had vascular dementia, during her 3 1/2 year stay at Longueville Court, was always excellent. Although a difficult patient at times, she was always treated with dignity and kindness. I cannot praise the staff of this home highly enough, from the reception and admin staff, to the care staff and nurses. I would be happy to recommend this care home to anyone who needs the first class care it provides."

"Im very happy to leave this Review as your all amazing from the time my father came in here he was made very comfortable and well looked after. All the staff whatever there role supported us 24/7. He was only here a short time but while he was here you all treated him and us more like family and your little cafe was a god send. Like i say and cant say this enough many, many thanks, we love you all and a Happy Christmas"

A warm and welcoming care home with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are friendly, supportive, and genuinely care about the residents. I visit regularly to deliver chair-based exercise sessions and it’s always a pleasure — residents are encouraged to join in and there’s a real sense of community. A wonderful place to visit.

"Mum was looked after with great care, kindness & dignity throughout her time on the skylark ward. She felt very lucky to be in Longueville Court, especially for us as her family, during her last days before her passing. We were provided with information from the nurses on skylark and were grateful for all of the care provided for Mum."

I would just like to say what a great nursing home this - the care of my mum has been great The nursing and care staff are very compassionate in the job that they do.
It is very clean and the food is great .
It is unfortunate that she’s moving to another nursing home today to be nearer home .
Please pass our ur thanks to all the staff for making my mums stay a comfortable and pleasant one .

"I have been regularly visiting our very dear family friend since she became a resident approximately 8-9 months ago. Longueville Court have literally saved her life and restored her back to health with their care, compassion and fabulous food!! I hope everyone gets to read this! I absolutely believe this to be true and cannot thank everyone enough! From the minute you walk in to the time you leave, everyone is caring and friendly and the home is immaculate!"

My mother in law moved here in January 2024, and sadly recently passed away. The care she received was excellent. The nurses and carers seemed to genuinely love her. We never had any worries at all while she was here. Unfortunately she wasn't able to take part in many activities but there always seemed to be something interesting happening to keep the residents entertained. Special shout out to Simi and Dani, lovely nurses who always had time for us. Thank you everyone.

"I visit my friend (an ex-history teacher) twice a week. Today I joined an activity with her - a talk with pictures of Queen Victoria and life in Victorian times. The Activity Leader was dressed in Victorian clothes, she had prepared and researched carefully. She delivered and engaged the 8 residents with interesting photos and questions. My friend really enjoyed this activity. Well done."

"Cannot praise the team in Memory Lane high enough. All the staff provide excellent care for my wife as well as make me feel most welcome at all times. The unit is extremely well managed, maintained and has an excellent ambience."

"The staff at the home are all outstanding. Following an extended stay in hospital my mum was discharged to the care home, with a very nasty pressure ulcer. The dedication and care that team on Skylark and within the home in general, have provided for mum since her arrival has meant that the pressure ulcer has completely healed, which we never thought would be possible. All the staff are always caring, friendly and helpful and genuinely take the time to get to know the residents and their family. They are happy to help in anyway they can. Many of the staff are extremely knowledgeable about different aspects of residential care etc and are pleased to help with any queries or questions you may have. The home is spotlessly clean and the grounds and gardens delightfully maintained. The food is excellent with a wide variety of options and choices."
