Activities at Alice Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hi, my name is Penny and I am the Lead Activities Coordinator here at Alice Grange.
I have many years of experience working in care homes in Activities, leisure and lifestyle roles.
I love being part of the Alice Grange team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel that the residents' input into our weekly planner is important as it gives all residents equal opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous passions and hobbies.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Alice Grange Care Home
Flower Arranging Session
Flower arranging is a regular activity at Alice Grange as well as our weekly garden club. We are looking forward to being able to use the flowers from the garden for our arrangements.
Elvis Visited Alice Grange
Elvis was in the house singing all our residents favourite songs. This really goes down well with family friends and all of our residents. We were hoping for Andy Otley to return in April or May, but have had to cancel.
Tania Honey Performs
Tania Honey is one of our residents, staff and relatives favourite performers who come here to Alice Grange - we always have a full house when Tania is in the home!! Residents love to sing along and get up to have a dance!
Visit to Kesgrave High School
Residents of Alice Grange care home were very kindly invited to a tea party at Kesgrave High School to meet some of the Health and Social care students! The residents had a great time meeting the students and were very well looked after with tea, coffee and some sweet treats. We are looking forward to our next visit!
Residents are Keeping Fit at Alice Grange!
Residents are enjoying keeping fit at Alice Grange with our Armchair Exercise classes that take place every week. These classes help to keep mobility and build up strength. Residents, visitors and staff all join in with the classes and there are variations depending on which level you are at.
Visit from PAT Dogs
Residents, relatives and staff love when our PAT dogs come to visit us - their waggly tails really do brighten up everybody's days and makes everybody smile!
