Activities at Alice Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Penny Allen
Hi, my name is Penny and I am the Lead Activities Coordinator here at Alice Grange.
I have many years of experience working in care homes in Activities, leisure and lifestyle roles.
I love being part of the Alice Grange team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel that the residents' input into our weekly planner is important as it gives all residents equal opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous passions and hobbies.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Open Day
On Saturday we had an Open Day at Alice Grange where we opened our doors to the public! We had lots of people come in to meet our team. If you wish to come and meet our lovely staff, please do come and see us or give us a call to arrange a show round.
Farm Life!
At Alice Grange care home, we welcomed in some local farm life to the home. These baby goats won over the residents!
Summer Fete
Fun was had by all at the annual Summer Fete at Alice Grange. There were garden games, live entertainment as well as a raffle. Refreshments included an afternoon tea and ice cream!
Teddy Bear Picnic
We recently had a Teddy Bear Picnic at Alice Grange in the lovely gardens. Residents got to pick what food they wanted for their picnic and pick their favourite bears! We were delighted to invite some children in to join in the fun.
Fresh Air & Friends
We were delighted to have our second Fresh Air & Friends which is a community litter pick around Kesgrave. Our residents loved getting involved and being a part of their local community as well as being able to give back! It was lovely to get some fresh air and meet some new people!
