This late Georgian home boasts stunning views across the park to the surrounding woods and fields. Hethersett Hall enjoys all the benefits of the Norfolk countryside and yet is close enough to the A11, making it easily accessible to family and friends. It is located in extensive grounds, with a variety of secure gardens.
Hethersett Hall Care Home provides high quality residential care and support for older people, as well as people living with dementia. We also offer respite care and short breaks, which can now be pre-booked up to a year in advance. Our skilled and dedicated team are committed to providing professional and respectful care that focuses on the individual needs of each resident.
The home's specialist Memory Lane Community utilises a careful blend of skills and techniques developed by leading experts in the field of dementia care, incorporating person-centred design in its use of colour and cues to help individuals navigate through the home, whilst thoughtful interior design features, such us adapted crockery and tableware assists with reminiscence. Communities are broken up into separate units with a family feel so people can feel safe and comfortable. Care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood.

The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it is important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Melissa is our General Manager here at Hethersett Hall and is responsible for overseeing and making sure the highest level of care is delivered to our residents at all times. Melissa started life with the Barchester 8 years ago as a care assistant and has been a deputy manager for the last four years.
