Hi, my name is Kerry and I am the General Manager here at Hethersett. Welcome to our website!
I have been in the care sector for over 25 years, beginning my career as a care assistant and working my way up to being a manager, which is something that I have done for over 15 years. My previous position was as a regional manager in the private care sector. I feel that my experience has made me a competent and capable General Manager and I have a wealth of knowledge around managing residential and domiciliary care services.
I am looking forward to being able to work for a company that will ensure that I have the autonomy to allow myself to continue with my aims to ensure that every person's needs are met through a person-centred approach and ensuring that the same amount of passion and commitment is applied to everyone, as though they were a member of my own family.
I am proud of everything that I have achieved, but getting an 'Outstanding' rating in my last CQC inspection is one of my greatest accomplishments.
Hi, my name is Melissa and I am the Deputy Manager here at Hethersett Hall.
Hello, my name is Lee and I am the Unit Manager on the Memory Lane Community here at Hethersett hall. I have worked within care for for over five years now, with two of those being at Hethersett. I started as a Care Assistant, working my way up to a Senior Carer position and have now been given the amazing opportunity to be a Unit Manager.
My goal is to deliver the best quality care to those we support. Garden House is not only a Memory Lane Community, we are a family and, along with my brilliant team, I strive to keep everyone happy and healthy.
I am the Unit Manager for our Residential Community, Main Hall. I have worked at the Hethersett for five years, working as a Senior Carer before being offered the amazing opportunity to be Unit Manager. I love being part of the team here to make our residents' lives happier.
Hello my name is Dulcie. I oversee and discuss any concerns the residents may have and put forward suggestions to management.
My name is Charlotte and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Hethersett Hall. I started as an Activities & Care Assistant in April 2018 and, later in the year, I was offered the amazing opportunity to be the Activities Coordinator.
I’m so happy to be a part of the team here at Hethersett Hall, as I’ve always wanted to work with elderly people; it’s something I hold very close to my heart. I will strive to support and care for all residents in a way that best suits each individual and try my very best to make them smile every day!
My name is Emily and I am working alongside Charlotte as Assistant Activities Coordinator. Before I came to Hethersett Hall, I worked as an entertainer at various holiday camps and hotels in a number of different roles, including stage management, touring shows and theatre productions.
I’m looking forward to bringing lots of smiles to people’s faces and creating great new memories for them.
Sue is our first port of call for all home enquiries. She can always be found in our plush reception area and deals with all attentively.
Sue has worked at Hethersett Hall for over 15 years and has carried out a number of roles, including Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant and Administrator!
In her spare time, Sue enjoys going out to watch musicals at the theatre, and she lives in Hethersett with her son.
Hello, my name is Camilia and I am the Head Chef here at Hethersett Hall Care home.
I joined the team at Hethersett Hall over 4 years ago and really enjoy my work. I began here as a Housekeeper, but after 3 years, I was appointed as Head Housekeeper for the home. What I enjoy most about working here is spending time engaging with residents.
Hello, my name is Donna and I am the Sous Chef here at Hethersett Hall.
I first started working at Hethersett Hall 7 years ago when I began as a Kitchen Assistant. I later took on the role of a hostess, serving food and beverages to our residents at meal times. Soon after this I worked her way up to being the 2nd chef in the kitchen delivering delicious and nutritious meals for all of our residents.
I thoroughly enjoys my job and I always puts an extra effort into the meals that I prepare, making sure all needs and tastes are catered for and leaving everyone happy and satisfied.
I also have a great passion for baking and the residents never miss out on some tasty cakes to enjoy, especially on our event days and coffee mornings!
Nathan has been the Head of Maintenance at Hethersett Hall since November 2018 and has also taken on the responsibility of home trainer.
Nathan has won two Barchester National Care Awards for Home Trainer of the Year 2009 and Maintenance Champion 2012.
Nathan is responsible for ensuring that every aspect of Health and Safety has been observed, that everything is working well and Hethersett Hall remains a well-maintained and presented home.
