Alice Grange Care Home in Ipswich
Our care home is close to the beautiful East Anglian coast line, known for its Blue Flag beaches, and with good road links to the A12 and A14 trunk roads. Alice Grange is easily accessible from nearby towns like Colchester and Felixstowe. At Alice Grange, we provide a range of accommodation and services for older people in need of support, from residential care to 24-hour nursing care, in addition to respite care.
Dementia Care
We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
Our care at Alice Grange is based around personalised care plans, drawn up with the individual and their family to ensure life at Alice Grange feels like home.
The best way to get to know our Alice Grange care home is to arrange a visit. We welcome visitors, so please feel free to drop in and see if our home is right for you or your loved one.

Our Team
The dedicated and experienced team are passionate about providing quality care to each individual living at the home.

Andrea Crowley
My name is Andrea, and I am the General Manager here at Alice Grange. Welcome to our website!
I am very excited to be given the opportunity to manage this fantastic care home. I am very passionate about leadership and providing excellent care focused on individual needs.
I qualified as an RGN in 1998, and have worked at a managerial level since 2000, having also earned my RMA Level 4 (Registered Managers Award). I have a BSc (Hons) in Dementia Studies and, during my spare time, I study cosmetic dermatology.
My vision for Alice Grange is for it to become the best care home in Suffolk and to be awarded Outstanding certification by the Care Quality Commission. Our home will achieve this through delivering high-quality care that is tailored for each resident and by creating a whole home community supporting our residents to thrive and enjoy every aspect of life. We will provide all residents with the opportunity to engage in a range of meaningful activities, grow their experiences and learn new skills.
My door will always be open to new ideas and suggestions for improving the lives of our residents.
