Nursing and residential care
Our residential care home provides high-quality nursing and residential care in a warm, homely and friendly environment. Our team of qualified and dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of residents and are committed to providing professional and respectful care with the resident at the heart of everything they do.
The home has a dedicated area which we call our Memory Lane Community. It provides first-class care for people with dementia. Within our community, memory boxes with small reminders and items such as photographs are used to help each person reminisce. Features such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low-risk walkways and activity kitchens also enable people to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures.
Our first-class facilities combined with our highly trained staff ensures each and every individual is given superior attention. Our 24-hour care is provided in a warm, welcoming environment, with delicious meals and varying daily activities, including a choice of therapeutic approaches. Together with our lively social calendar, this helps to stimulate people’s minds, and empower them to approach their future in a positive way.

Hi, my name is Anu, and I am the General Manager here at Woodland View. Welcome to our website!
I have been a registered nurse for over 10 years. Before Barchester, I have had roles in both the public and private sector, but my primary area of work interest has always been supporting people living with dementia. I have always enjoyed working in care homes and I choose Woodland View because Barchester is a company that welcomes changes and is always working towards embracing them with great enthusiasm.Get in touch Meet my team
