Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Life at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Visit from Santa's Grandad
Staff, residents and families had a visit from Santa's grandad; the children attending the Christmas party were amazed to meet him.
60s Entertainment
60s entertainment brought out the hippy chic in Donna Brown, our Operations Manager, who couldn't resist a dance.
Movement to Music
Staff and residents enjoyed a morning of fun using props such as dusters, top hats, beads and gymnastic ribbons for exercise with a difference.
Simon's Last Day
Operations Manager, Simon Barnes, had his last day at Werrington Lodge recently. Simon has been a great help at Werrington and will be missed by all.
25 Years at Werrington
Kay Windsor celebrated 25 years at Werrington Lodge this week. She received huge cheers from the staff and residents, along with flowers, cards and vouchers. Kay is our much-loved Activities Coordinator.
A Right Royal Knees Up
Residents at Werrington celebrated the Queen's Official Birthday with a right royal knees up. Everyone enjoyed a street party-themed lunch and some live entertainment - a fantastic time was had by all!
