Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home

Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Memory Tree

Memory Tree

Some of you may have already seen our memory tree located in the main reception; this tree is for all to share memories of past and present loved ones. Within the first few days of the tree being up it was full of memories shared by all. Everyone comments on the pretty tree that lights up. We think it adds something a little bit special to the home.

Christmas Time at Werrington

Christmas Time at Werrington

Residents, relatives, friends and staff danced and ate their way through the festive season at Werrington - and we all agreed that "it is the season to be jolly."

We decked the halls, had mistletoe and wine, loved having friends and families over on Christmas Day - and now Christmas has left the building.
