Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

Jaime Gilbank

Activities Coordinator Lead

I joined the Chorleywood Beaumont team in 2023 an activities coordinator lead. I  have worked in the care sector for over 9 years and I have been a wellbeing Activities lead for over 2 years.  In this time I continue to build a great knowledge of skills and experience in providing and implementing a variety of activities to cater and support for all needs. Suiting each individual, supporting the mind body and soul.  I am passionate about my role here at Chorleywood Beaumont, providing person centred support and  caring for the wellbeing of everyone. I am a people person and I love putting a smile on our resident’s faces. It is so rewarding and makes me happy.

Life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Feeling Floral

Feeling Floral

Staff and residents recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon of making some beautiful autumnal flower arrangements for our reception area! One of our residents said ‘it’s like having a breath of fresh air in the building’ . We all admired all the deep reds, the golden yellows and the burnt orange flowers that’s made us excited for all the good that comes from the autumn season!

Finally, Callum Stoneham is one of the finalists for the 'Best Chef' award. He has worked at Chorleywood for over 4 years now and continues to work with passion and regularly goes above and beyond in his role. Well done, Callum, we couldn't think of a more deserving nominee!

Christ Church Flower Festival

Christ Church Flower Festival

We were all lucky enough to go to our local Christ Church for their stunning Harvest Flower Festival that they hold every 5 years! We explored the church and all the wonderful floral designs they held inside. We finished the day with teas and coffees in the Church’s tea room. Everyone at the Church was so welcoming & helpful! Thanks to everyone who helped us have a marvellous day out.
