Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

Jaime Gilbank

Activities Coordinator Lead

I joined the Chorleywood Beaumont team in 2023 an activities coordinator lead. I  have worked in the care sector for over 9 years and I have been a wellbeing Activities lead for over 2 years.  In this time I continue to build a great knowledge of skills and experience in providing and implementing a variety of activities to cater and support for all needs. Suiting each individual, supporting the mind body and soul.  I am passionate about my role here at Chorleywood Beaumont, providing person centred support and  caring for the wellbeing of everyone. I am a people person and I love putting a smile on our resident’s faces. It is so rewarding and makes me happy.

Our talented Admin Assistant Sharon has set up a beautiful Christmas Choir! The Choir is held every Wednesday at 2.15pm and the final performance will be Wednesday 19th of December at 3pm. We’ve been delighted to see how many of our relatives have come to support us every week, even our friend Warren form Chorleywood Christ Church has been coming over to help as a volunteer.
