Chalfont Lodge is a purpose-built residential care home in Buckinghamshire in the small village of Chalfont St Peter, close to Gerrards Cross and with good public transport links to local towns.
Chalfont Lodge is also a nursing home and offers nursing care to people with a variety of complex needs, including frail older people and people living with dementia, who are supported in a dedicated Memory Lane Community. It also provides care for younger people with physical disabilities.
Chalfont Lodge specialise in treating a range of neurological conditions, including acquired brain injuries.
There are strong links with local multi-disciplinary services including orthotics, wheelchair, and SALT. We specialise in 24 hour postural management of complex disabilities and specialist seating. We run regular consultant and specialist nurse run review clinics.
Treatments are patient and relative goal centred and aim to manage the patient holistically. We use a wide range of modalities including exercise therapy, hydrotherapy, rebound therapy and chest physiotherapy (provided by our in-house physiotherapy team) to achieve maximal benefits for our patients.
Our staff are well-trained and compassionate, concerned to ensure that the people we support enjoy life as much as they can. The home has lovely gardens and offers a wide range of activities, including excellent music therapy.
