I had a very positive experience during my visit to the nursing home. The reception area was warm and welcoming, with soft background music creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The receptionist was friendly, professional, and greeted me with a smile, which immediately made me feel comfortable.
I met the Clinical Deputy Manager, Ovi, who organised the event. Ovi is approachable, professional, and demonstrated strong leadership within the team. In addition, I had the opportunity to meet the General Manager, Raj, who took the time to attend part of the afternoon event. This demonstrated a genuine interest in staff development and ensuring high standards of patient care.
Overall, the nursing home gave a very positive impression of being well-organised, welcoming, and professionally run. The staff were engaged and enthusiastic throughout the session, showing a keen interest in developing their skills and knowledge to help provide safe and effective care for their patients.

"We thank all the staff for kindness showed to my mother during what turned out to be a relatively short time at Chalfont Lodge. It was a difficult and painful time for her and we are very grateful for the physical and medical care the staff gave, listening to our concerns and being attentive to her pain relief needs and care. Had a pleasure speaking with Mr. Ovi Gall today, the Clinical Deputy Manager at Chalfont Lodge Care Centre. Extremely friendly, warm person. I am not surprised that he won the Deputy Manager of the Year in 2025. I would recommend this Care Centre to my friends and family. Well done!

This also continued beyond the home when mum was taken to hospital following a fall. The care nurse accompanying her took excellent care to ensure that mum was kept comfortable in her final hours, for this depth of compassion. I will be forever grateful."

I recently attended an event for women’s day celebration which was organised by Mansukh Chander -senior physio at Chalfont. She is an absolute gem of a person, her presence was so positive and she brightened up the whole evening. Also, in my experience, it’s not standard to have an in house physio even in a private care home setting so kudos to management for their vision, prioritising the needs of their residents. The look and feel of the care home was absolute top class.

I visited here for the International Women’s Day celebration last week and was truly amazed by how welcoming everyone was. The place is absolutely spotless and the staff are incredible.

Raj, who is in charge, is such a down-to-earth man and very easy to talk to. Jacqui is equally wonderful and just as welcoming. Mansukh, the physiotherapist who kindly invited us, is such a lovely lady.

Working in retail, I’ve come across quite a few people who work here, including Anna, Maria, Cosmina and a few other familiar faces, which made the experience even nicer.

If you’re looking for a care home for your loved one, I would highly recommend this place.

Very lovely place for residents and staff. I recently attended an event for women’s day. Mansukh (Head Physiotherapist) and other staff (music therapist,chef) were welcoming. I felt part of the event. Had great opportunity to network. Raj was welcoming and made everyone feel part of the wonderful event.
