Bushey House Beaumont Care Home in Watford

Bushey House Beaumont Care Home is a Grade II listed building located in the heart of Bushey Village, close by to Watford and Elstree. The care home provides a range of accommodation and services, including 24 hour nursing, residential, respite, and convalescence care.  We also have independent living apartments for those wishing to live independently.

Nursing Care and Residential Care

The home is perfectly equipped to provide high quality 24-hour residential and nursing care. We also offer respite care, which can be pre-booked up to a year in advance.

Our residential care provides a warm, welcoming and homely environment, with delicious meals and daily activities that include a choice of therapeutic approaches. Together, the lively social calendar, community & family involvement and a home designed to support independence, helps stimulate residents' minds and encourages well-being.

All residents receive tailored care plans to meet their needs and preferences. Residents can also take full advantage hair salon on-site. Bushey House Beaumont has extensive lawns and gardens that show off a peaceful landscape to the rear of the building. To the front of the building, you are just one step away from Bushey High Street.

Welcome to Bushey House's website. My name is Mary Jane and I am the General Manager at the home.

I have been at Bushey House since April 2022. I am qualified as a nurse in 1991 working in the NHS from 1999 to 2016. I joined Barchester Healthcare in 2016 as a Deputy Manager and have supported care homes for many years. 

We aspire to be the most respected home in the area. My passion is to ensure that our residents are provided with the very best  of care, dignity, respect and support to enable them to live a healthy and happy life.

I am very proud to be part of such a dedicated team, who continue to strive to deliver a first class service at such a beautiful home. I look forward to welcoming you to Bushey House Beaumont.

In our CQC inspection which took place in 2022, we received 3 'Good' ratings for Caring, Responsive, and Effective and have a clear action plan to make improvements in the areas needed which you can view below. A number of changes have already been actioned and positive improvements have been made.
