Meet the Bushey House Beaumont Care Home Team

I have worked in administrative related roles for over 10 years and with Barchester for over 2 years. I enjoy working for Barchester Healthcare because it has given me great opportunities to learn and develop. I am passionate about providing excellent customer service and making processes as smooth as possible for our residents and their families.

My hobbies include cycling, fishing and exploring places of natural beauty.

I look after the general home standards and also new residents coming into the home. I will be the first point of contact should you wish to enquire about care for yourself or your loved one to come and stay at Bushey House Beaumont. I am also involved with community engagement and work closely with various organisations which may be of benefit to our residents.

I have studied two degrees in Ecology and Environmental Management and Theology with Religious Studies. I have a varied work background including consultation for local authorities and working in the homeless person and elderly care sectors. Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking and church activities.

I have been a nurse for over 13 years. My responsibilities involve oversight for the nursing team at Bushey House ensuring high quality health care is delivered for our residents. I provide mentorship and training for our nurses and function as a Care Co-ordinator. I am also the Wellbeing Champion which entails planning and facilitating activities for residents and staff to promote health and wellbeing.

I enjoy travelling, visiting historical places and singing.

Hello I am Linda a Registered Nurse at Bushey House Beaumont. I did my nurse training in Ghana where I worked in a large general hospital. This is my first nursing role based in a care home and I really enjoy getting to know and care for our lovely residents.

Avni's passion for his cooking is reflected in the delivery of his food. Having previously won Barchester' Chef of the year,  Avni and his team continue to produce freshly made, nutritious and appetising menus from our kitchen at Bushey House Beaumont.

Working on the busy reception desk keeps me busy. Its a very varied role and I get to talk too and meet some lovely people. With residents, their families and guests coming and going, it makes for a interesting day every day.

I have worked at Bushey House since 2014. Coming into work every day and seeing a smile on our residents' faces is what makes it worth while. I pride myself in giving 100% dedication to not only the home, but also the residents I support.

Hello, my name is Roajin and I am part of the Housekeeping team at Bushey House Beaumont. I take great pride in making sure our home is spotless, with the high standards we expect in our Barchester homes. I enjoy spending time with the residents and families as much as possible.

My role is to ensure the home is kept safe and clean. I am also the Infection Control Champion working closely with the nursing team to maintain the highest standards of hygiene in the home. I love to look after our beautiful residence and to make it inviting and comfortable for residents and their visitors.

I love spending time with family and friends including going to the cinema and sampling new restaurants.

Hello I am Nola, I have been working for Barchester for over 13 years, I started as a carer, and over the years have studied while working until in 2020 I completed my BSC in Nursing and received my registration to work as a nurse. I am so pleased and proud to be the Deputy Manager at Bushey House, I love my role, working to ensure residents live fulfilled lives and supporting the wonderful team here who work so hard to look after everyone.

My career in Barchester started in 2022. I grew up in Jamaica where I completed my nursing training and worked in a hospital, clinic and university. When I moved to the UK I became an ICU nurse in the NHS before starting my career in Barchester. I feel blessed to work as a nurse and to get to work with my colleagues at Bushey Beaumont.

I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

It is my pleasure to be working at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home in a Grade 2 listed building which has great charm. I have many years’ experience in this field. Making the environment safe for all our residents and team is my primary goal.

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I have worked at Bushey House for over 14 years starting back in 2004. I have worked up to senior carer now and am also head carer for our assisted living apartments that form part of the home here at Bushey House.

I have been 2nd chef working with Avni for over 11 years now starting in 2010. I really enjoy working in the kitchen and have learnt so much over the years. We really do provide outstanding quality food and always listen to our residents like and dislikes and are guided by them.

Hi, I am Mariana and am Housekeeper at Bushey House Beaumont. I have worked here for over 6 years commencing my role in 2014. Both myself, and my Housekeeping team, really pride ourselves on the cleanliness of the home. We work tirelessly to make sure that everything is spotless for our residents, so they can enjoy life to the maximum.
