Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.
Jaime Gilbank
I joined the Chorleywood Beaumont team in 2023 an activities coordinator lead. I have worked in the care sector for over 9 years and I have been a wellbeing Activities lead for over 2 years. In this time I continue to build a great knowledge of skills and experience in providing and implementing a variety of activities to cater and support for all needs. Suiting each individual, supporting the mind body and soul. I am passionate about my role here at Chorleywood Beaumont, providing person centred support and caring for the wellbeing of everyone. I am a people person and I love putting a smile on our resident’s faces. It is so rewarding and makes me happy.

Callum Wins Best Chef
We are delighted to announce that Callum Stoneham has won the 'Best Chef' category at the National Care Awards! Callum goes above and beyond in his role ,and we can’t thank him enough for everything he does for us here at Chorleywood Beaumont.
Congratulations, Callum – we couldn’t have thought of a more deserving winner.
15 Year at Chorleywood
We celebrated Chris' 15th year as a resident of Chorleywood. We all had a wonderful evening, accompanied by the soothing tones of Franz Hepburn, who performed an array of operatic songs for us. Chris said he couldn’t have asked for more. Here's to the next 15 years!
Christmas Raffle
Come and get your tickets for our Christmas Raffle! Tickets are £1. First prize is our luxury festive hamper, second prize is a beautiful basket of toiletries, and third prize is our big bear, along with his little friend, who’re trying to find a home for Christmas. The raffle will be drawn on 14th of December. Tickets are sold at reception. Good luck!
Christmas Shopping
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! We’ve all been awed by the stunning decorations and were inspired for Christmas at our latest shopping trip out to the Van Hage Garden Centre.
Lunch Outing
We all enjoyed a lovely lunch outing at Ethorpe Hotel recently. As always, everyone at the hotel was brilliant and ensured that we have a lovely afternoon.
