Activities at Windmill Manor Care Home
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Hi, my name is Sherry, and I have managed the activities team since July 2015. I am very passionate about my role and encourage each residents to join in with activities as much as possible. We provide a varied programme to ensure that the needs of each individual are met.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Hurst Green Singers
The Hurst Green Singers came into our garden recently to perform and sing for our residents. It was a lovely experience, enjoyed by all.
Christmas Decorations
We have been working hard to make homemade festive decorations for the home and we are happy to say that it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Bonfire Night Celebrations
We ventured into the garden to collect autumnal items to make our artwork. We made some beautiful pictures!
Halloween Celebrations
We had a great day where all the staff dressed up in spooktacular costumes and we had a singer come in to sing old songs to the residents.
Buzz Bingo
We had the pleasure of Tracey from Buzz Bingo in Crawley visiting. She came today to interact with every resident on both Memory Lane & Willow Way. She will be popping in soon to call bingo for us.
Halloween Celebrations
The witches and demons came out in force to celebrate Halloween at Windmill Manor. It was a day of fun and games, including a live performance by Barry Stevens.
