Maria Wedd
General Manager
I am the General Manager for Windmill Manor. I have been a registered manager for 11 years, starting my career as a care apprentice. My journey started in the community where I met people from all different walks of life. Learning about them is what drove my passion for the sector. I am passionate about delivering high quality care to individuals regardless of their level of need and myself and my team will do everything in our power to ensure our residents are safe and well cared for in a beautiful environment. I have managed a variety of registered services over the years and this has given me a vast knowledge in a variety of scenarios which enable me to support my team effectively.
Something people don’t know about me – I studied law at the Open University and obtained my law degree but health and social care was my calling!
