Great service met by an amazing receptionist ,friendly helpful and knowledgeable even offered coffee a cake which was lovely great care staff lovely atmosphere a good place to be.

"Recently, Mum had to be admitted to hospital. Thanks to the attentiveness & vigilance of the nurse on duty, the doctor & paramedics were called & Mum was admitted with pneumonia. Last year this was missed by her former care home, but this time it was identified much earlier, preventing her condition from deteriorating as it had in the past. Mum also had a fall due to weakness following her pneumonia. The staff acted promptly & professionally, keeping me well informed throughout the night while paramedics attended to assess her. I was reassured Mum was being closely monitored & the communication from the night staff was clear, caring & consistent. They even contacted me late into the night to provide reassurance during a very worrying time. I am extremely grateful to all the staff involved for their care, professionalism, and compassion. Their vigilance made a significant difference to Mum's wellbeing and gave me great peace of mind. The staff not only support mum but the family too."

"Such a lovely vibe to the home. Staff are always friendly and happy. The entertainment is varied and engaging. I manage to visit most days and it is nice to see Dad settled and a relief he is well cared for. Thank you"

"Mum initially came to the home for respite and had such an improvement in wellbeing she stayed. Staff are supportive and friendly to Mum and family. Mum loves the activities and social side. Was hesitant over Mum coming to a care home but everyone at Windmill have been fantastic throughout all areas."

"My husband has been in Windmill Manor for a year now so I've pretty much seen it all!! I am even more impressed with the home than I was in the early days. I have come to know the staff and many of the relatives. It really is a big family here. I have been able to come and go as I please and am always made to feel welcome. My husband has received the kindest of care under sometimes testing circumstances. The staff are always thoughtful and understanding. It seems that daily care staff, night staff, kitchen, admin, maintenance, cleaners, management and literally everyone knows who is who and what is going on. It's impressive. My year has been so strange - very sad but on the other hand we have also had lots of laughs. He is extremely well cared for and is very content."

Whenever I visit Windmill Manor Care Home as a visiting professional, Reshma and her team are are always so warm & welcoming. The home is always immaculately clean and furnished beautifully. The staff are warm, friendly and courteous and the residents always look happy and well cared for. It’s a beautiful home and I look forward to my visits there

"The carers here have shown such patience and kindness to my husband. He has early onset dementia and can be very challenging. They have taken the time to let him settle and are always very welcoming to us as family when we visit. They always have something positive to say about how he is doing. Their job is challenging but they are always ready with a smile and reassurance. All the staff, management, reception, maintainence team, cleaners and laundry staff included, always have time to stop and say hello. We are very grateful for them all."

"Barchester Windmill Manor Care Home has been a wonderful place for my loved one. The staff are kind, attentive and treat residents with dignity and respect. The facilities are clean and comfortable and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Knowing my grandparent is in such good hands gives me great peace of mind."

"My biggest gripe is the billing. Every month there is an issue with our bill. Don't know if the bill is not double-checked before it's sent out. All of my questions are resolved but I should not have to be checking it. It would be nice to see more sauces on the table for chips, fish etc. without having to ask"

Early days for my mum but I just have to say what a beautiful care home with lovely staff. From the moment I walked in the door arriving early ,I was made to feel at ease - Lesley at reception , Reshma , Deneil and Dipan are all so professional and efficient whilst retaining the personal touch . In my opinion a lovely purpose built home in a lovely location with fabulous communal areas and rooms 💕

"Excellent care home that exceeds expectations. When I first visited the care home, I was incredibly impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere and kind, caring staff. The staff make sure that each and every resident is doing their best and is well. The activities that take place in the care home are absolutely remarkable and memories are made (events such as Christmas fairs and parties). During the Christmas Fair this year items could be purchased as gifts and delicious seasonal food was available to try. Residents always have smiles on their faces since they are taken care of very well by the wonderful staff at Windmill Manor Care Home. It brings such pleasure to know that our loved ones are in such good hands. Thank you Windmill Manor for everything you do for our families."
