The dedicated and experienced team are passionate about providing quality care to each individual living at the home.
I trained as a nurse over 30 years ago and worked in a variety of NHS wards and departments. I then began working in care homes and absolutely loved it. I knew I didn’t want to return to NHS working, but wanted to gain more experience, so I applied for a position in a hospice.
I worked in the hospice/palliative care inpatient unit for 17 years and gained a wealth of experience in symptom control, end of life care and advanced communication.
I always knew that I wanted to return to working in a care home in some capacity, and in 2017, I was fortunate to be offered the position of Regional Clinical Development Nurse with Barchester, which involved supporting the Regional Director in ensuring the quality of care was of a high standard in 10 homes in Surrey and South London.
Tandridge Heights was one of these homes, so I have known the home for many years. I know most of the staff and residents already, and pre-COVID, I will have met many of the relatives and family members.
I was overjoyed to be offered the position of General Manager and look forward to meeting all of you in the coming weeks.Get in touch Meet my team
