Activities at Mount Tryon Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Little Visitors

Little Visitors

We have enjoyed welcome the kids from our local pre-school. During their visits we have hosted music session, where we all enjoyed banging our drums and shaking our maracas, which was followed up with a very special storytime.

Santa at Mount Tryon

We had a very special visit from Father Christmas! He was joined by one of his magical reindeer, and had a wonderful time touring the home and visiting all our residents. He was even kind enough to bring along his sack, which was full of some special Christmas surprises!

Santa's Little Helpers

Santa's Little Helpers

Staff at Mount Tryon swapped their uniforms for costumes on 7th December as the home celebrated Elf Day in an effort to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. From stripy socks to Christmas jumpers, anything goes – there’s snow better way to raise money to help beat dementia!

Christmas Decorations

Christmas Decorations

We’ve been very busy keeping up our Christmas spirits and making some wonderful paper chains to put up around the home. We’ve been very busy and made enough to decorate all our halls!

Decking the Halls

We’ve been very busy decking the halls here at Mount Tryon. We’ve been having a ball putting up decorations all throughout the home whilst listening to some of our favourite Christmas tunes. It’s been wonderful to see the home be transformed with all the glitter and magic of Christmas.

Beautiful Flowers

Se were lucky enough to be given some beautiful flowers by our local church. We wasted no time in getting them ready and arranging them for our dining room, as well as putting together a beautiful bouquet for the lounge.
