Activities at Latimer Court Care Home

Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Our aim is to make sure that those we support can enjoy a happy and fulfilled stay with us. You can take a look at some of our regular activities by clicking here.

Dan Taylor-Edwards

Activities Coordinator & Dementia Champion

I'm Dan and I'm the Activities Coordinator here at Latimer Court. I joined the team in 2022. I have worked in care for many years as a carer and activities roles, and absolutely love my role here. I love working with the elderly and have a real passion to enrich every day and make their lives as special as they can be.

I have many ideas for group activities and events as well as for individual interactions, and love seeing these ideas coming to life and the difference it makes to each resident's day!

Employee of the Month - March

Lucie is a extremely hard working member of staff here at Latimer. She is recognised for always having a smile on her face and being positive. She is always happy to help no matter what the task involves and has good relationships with the residents, their families and members of staff. She always goes the extra mile and no job is too small. She is a great example to other colleagues and her positive attitude uplifts everyone. She is dedicated to her residents and her job and deserves to be recognised as a star employee.

Many of the staff, residents and families find Wayne to set a great example to others in our home. He always has a positive attitude and has a good connection with all the residents that he works with and their families. He has also been noticed for always having a friendly and happy approach to everyone and every task that he completes (nothing is ever too much trouble). He is a credit to our home, and we are proud to call him our employee of the month.
