Hi, my name is Adam, and I am the General Manager here at Latimer Court. I hope you find what you're looking for on our website.
I qualified as an RN (Adult Branch) in 2012, having studied at Birmingham City University's School of Nursing. Before my career at Barchester, I worked specifically within the field of Trauma Orthopaedics on the Military Ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
I commenced work at Barchester's Lakeside Manor in 2015, and was promoted to Deputy Manager in March 2016 before progressing to the position of General Manager. I then moved to Latimer Court in 2019.
I enjoy working with a caring and dedicated team of staff who always make it their priority to deliver the best possible care and services.
I joined the team at Barchester in April 2010 and bring a wealth of previous care home experience. I’m passionate about all aspects of care, particularly dementia care having worked in the community with people living with dementia for 6 years before, during and after university.
In 2010, I graduated from the University of Worcester with BSc Hons in Mental Health Nursing going on to further my education and learning at the Universities of Bradford and Surrey obtaining certification for ‘Training Staff in Person-Centred-Care’ and ‘Culture change within care homes’.
As a qualified Mental Health first aider I'm an advocate for continued staff wellbeing. "I've pockets of fairy dust to share and will happily make time to chat".
I joined the Barchester family in 1999 after qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and began working at Latimer Court in February 2018. During my time at Barchester, I have grown both professionally and personally, and have enhanced my knowledge exponentially.
I deliver clinical care to residents at Latimer and mentor the student nurses from the University of Worcester. I always endeavour to provide to highest standard of care to those I support in my role.
My name is Maddie and I am an activity co-ordinator at Latimer Court. I joined Latimer Court in 2018 as a weekend receptionist and have recently started the activity role.
I enjoy providing a range of activities for the residents each day, including trips out into the community. I enjoy discussions with the residents to find out what activities they would like.
They especially enjoy visits by children from the local school, gentleman’s club and using our new magic table.
I qualified as an RGN in Romania before moving to the UK. I became qualified to practice as a Nurse in England in 2016 and I have always had a passion for my work. Since joining Latimer Court, I have been able to support residents with their nursing requirements, with a focus on person-centred care.
I have been based at Latimer Court from when the home first opened in 2013. I am a qualified electrician and this has been invaluable. My role is to ensure that the home is a safe and well-maintained environment for all. I love being able to help in anyway that I can, from repairing a resident's TV to taking them out for the day as the mini bus driver.
I have worked at Latimer Court since April 2016. I look after the garden and make sure that it is well-tended to, so that residents can enjoy it. I also tend to the strawberry and raspberry bushes, as well as the vegetable patch that our ladies and gents planted.
I joined Latimer Court as a Senior Carer in 2015. I truly love caring for the residents I support; the smile on their faces makes my day.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family. I have a passion for many forms of needlecraft.
I joined Latimer Court in 2014 as a Housekeeper before being promoted to Head Housekeeper in October 2017. I lead the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring that all areas of Latimer Court are clean, tidy and well-presented.
