Hollyfields Care Home
Hollyfields Care Home in Kidderminster
Hollyfields Care Home and Ivy House in Kidderminster are located in the scenic Habberley Valley, just a few minutes from the town center and all the amenities it has to offer.
We support residents who are on different stages of their dementia journey in a way that is engaging and which enables individuals to be active through an extensive range of daily activities. We have two individual, but co-supportive settings in our residential community, Ivy House, and our main nursing home, Hollyfields.
Hollyfields
Hollyfields is our 36-bedded nursing home for those living with more advanced and challenging dementia. Our approach to resident support is based on person-centered care plans, identifying needs, likes and dislikes and offering personalised, but wide ranging activities focused on meaningful occupation.
Care plans are carefully prepared through discussions with each individual and their loved ones, as well as relevant medical professionals. The result is tailored care, bespoke to the person we are supporting.
Enhancing the quality of life for each resident is our number one priority and complements our reputation for excellent nursing care. We are also one of the few homes to be able to offer a magic table activity session for residents – a valuable addition to cognitive support in dementia care.
Ivy House
Ivy House is our luxury 7-bedded house that supports those at an earlier stage in their developing dementia. This unit fully supports residents, but offers an opportunity for individuals to remain socially active. They have their own lounge, dining and kitchen facilities and are encouraged to take part in activities in the home and their community. Residents are all carefully assessed for their suitability for Ivy House and to ensure a real family living environment during their stay.

Types of care
Hollyfields provides care for persons with mental health issues and complex dementia. This includes Korsakoff syndrome and a range of other conditions. In the Valley Suite, we operate a 7 bedded 'buddy' service for those residents whose complexities require them to have a varying level of one-to-one observations from 6-24 hours a day in a bespoke specialist unit. We understand that each resident is unique and our service is operated to deliver the best support we can for all who require it. We have many external and internal audits to ensure we deliver the highest standard of care possible. Our last CQC inspection rated us as 'Good'.
