Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Dan Taylor-Edwards
I'm Dan and I'm the Activities Coordinator here at Latimer Court. I joined the team in 2022. I have worked in care for many years as a carer and activities roles, and absolutely love my role here. I love working with the elderly and have a real passion to enrich every day and make their lives as special as they can be.
I have many ideas for group activities and events as well as for individual interactions, and love seeing these ideas coming to life and the difference it makes to each resident's day!

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Latimer Court Care Home
Christmas Tunes
We enjoyed a great Christmas performance from the Worcester Ukulele Club. Residents particularly loved singing along to the festive tunes.
A Friendly Chat
Jo, one of our lovely volunteers, can be seen above having a chat with a resident in our bistro.
Christmas Display
We took the minibus to the beautiful Worcester Cathedral to the the wonderful Christmas tree display, and followed it up with a lovely cuppa.
Feeling Floral
Residents enjoyed a visit from local florist, Gill Ross. She demonstrated making three lovely arrangements, which we have placed around the home.
Baking Club at Latimer
We have a baking club here at Latimer Court that takes places every week. The residents look forward to it as they get the chance to bake cookies and cakes, as well as eat them afterwards!
Animalmania
The residents enjoyed another visit from Animalmania recently, who bought in snakes, spiders and lots of other creepy crawlies! They are always very popular visitors here at Latimer Court and we can't wait to have them back in the New Year.

Monthly Dementia Cafe
Join us for our dementia cafe, enjoy cakes, refreshments, activities & a warm welcome. Family / carers come along too, make new friends in a safe space.
Dementia Friendly Film Club
Join us for our dementia friendly film mornings. Relax in our cinema room, enjoy a classic movie & delicious refreshments. Booking essential please on 01905 363270.

We are opening our doors to our seniors in the community to combat loneliness - 3rd Friday of the month. Places are limited.
