Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Dan Taylor-Edwards
I'm Dan and I'm the Activities Coordinator here at Latimer Court. I joined the team in 2022. I have worked in care for many years as a carer and activities roles, and absolutely love my role here. I love working with the elderly and have a real passion to enrich every day and make their lives as special as they can be.
I have many ideas for group activities and events as well as for individual interactions, and love seeing these ideas coming to life and the difference it makes to each resident's day!

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Latimer Court Care Home
Gentleman's Club
Every Wednesday we hold Gentleman’s Club. This is a chance for our day care residents and our chaps to get together over a beer and snacks, to chat and play games such as armchair darts, dominoes and many more.
This club is open to the local community to join and some of the residents' husbands have been well known to take a break to join our fun.
Gardening Club
Residents of Latimer Court's Memory Lane love getting involved in gardening and planting up pots to decorate their balcony.
Weekly Trip & Vintage Voices
Today was a fantastic day at Latimer Court. We started the day with our weekly trip, this weekl we visited the garden centre where residents enjoyed looking at the beautiful plants. In the afternoon we where visited by the fantastic Vintage Voices. They put on a fantastic show that was enjoyed by all.
Summer Fair
Residents, family and staff had a fantastic day at this years summer fair. We were entertained by live singers, old and young enjoyed interacting with our fabulous magic table and we all enjoyed the tasty selection of food prepared by our team of chefs
Garden Centre Visit
Latimer Court residents had a lovely day out today visiting a local Garden Centre. They ended the trip with tea and cake which went down a treat.

Join us for our dementia cafe, enjoy cakes, refreshments, activities & a warm welcome. Family / carers come along too, make new friends in a safe space.

We are opening our doors to our seniors in the community to combat loneliness - 3rd Friday of the month. Places are limited.
