Activities at Hampton Grove Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Jubilee Preparations

On Monday afternoon our lovely local artist, Jane, joined us to create some amazing decorations for the Queens Jubilee this weekend. Jane cut out big crowns for the residents to paint and don't they look amazing!

Here at Hampton Grove we are getting ready for our 3 day celebrations of Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee. Why not come along and celebrate with us on Thursday where we have Jubilee crafts from 2:30pm-4pm. On Friday we will be having cream tea in our garden at 2:30pm-4pm and on Saturday at 2:30pm-4pm there will be entertainment from 'Somethin else' a duo singing.

10 Years Service Award

Senior Care Assistant, Mandy Moore has received a prestigious Long Service Award in celebration of working at Barchester Healthcare for 10 years.

Mandy started at Barchester in May 2012 and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years.

We gathered together to party with banners, balloons and a delicious home-baked cake in Mandy’s honour.

Home Manager; Krzysztof Krzysztofiak, said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 10 years of loyal service with Mandy. She’s a lovely young lady, who goes above and beyond. She has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year. I speak for all of us here at Hampton Grove when I say that I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Mandy!

We all hope this award goes some way towards showing Mandy how valued she is by us all." Congratulations Mandy, enjoy the accolade and recognition.
