Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Eggs-tra Special Staff
General Manager Krzysztof has been busy handing out Easter eggs over the past couple of days. The staff at Hampton Grove have been receiving their Easter eggs as a thank you for all of their hard work so far this year.
Care Home Fundraiser
Following a fundraiser in aid of Sunny Days Children’s fund, our activities coordinator; Lisa was so pleased to present their visiting representative with a donation from our staff.

Hampton Grove care home residents, and colleagues wish to congratulate Housekeeping Assistant; Mark Anderson on receiving Employee of the Month for March 2022.
Nominated by his colleagues, and the residents of Hampton Grove for his dedication to keeping our home clean and safe for everyone to lives, works and visits.

Celebrating ABBA
It's been a massive 48 years since ABBA released the song 'Waterloo', and the band are celebrating the milestone by releasing a new lyric video for the Eurovision-winning song. To celebrate we spent the afternoon listening to lots of ABBA songs and dressing up in 70s costumes.
Preparing for St George's Day
Hampton Grove are getting ready for Saint Georges Day. The legend of Saint George and the dragon describes the saint taming and slaying a dragon that demanded human sacrifice. We celebrate St. Georges Day on April 23 - the anniversary of his death in 303 AD. The patron saint of England has captivated British imaginations since the Crusades and the Hundred Years' War. We are starting our preparations for the 23rd April and the residents have started to make their decorations.
Spring Walks
We took a lovely spring walk this morning. The residents had a lovely time enjoying the sun and looking at all the blossom trees.
