Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Creating Memory Boxes
What's better than creating memories? Making memory boxes to store them in!
Each one of our residents in Memory lane are creating their own memory box personalized to them, placing things that will help them remember what they have done, where they have been.
Photographs and newspaper cuttings, Looking at old pictures of friends and family can help to stir happy memories and help those who are living with Dementia remember.
Remembrance Day!!
Today in our crafts session residents enjoyed making some beautiful poppies for remembrance day this Sunday, and displaying them on a cross for the reception area.
Top floor Party!!
At Hampton Grove we celebrated the reopening of our 3rd floor Windsor.
Residents and visitors enjoyed lovely canapés with a glass of wine.
Trip to Leicester to visit Richard The lll Centre
Hampton Grove residents took a trip to Leicester to visit Richard The lll centre,
Where the beautiful story and cutting edge about Richard lll's life, death and the science behind his re-discovery. On the site where the incredible story, of the English King under the car park last to die in battle, first to be DNA tested, unfolded.
We learnt so much from this trip and intend to revisit the church where he now lies at rest.
Library visits Hampton Grove
This morning at Hampton Grove, the mobile library paid a visit today.
Our bookworm lovers got to choose their own books they want to read.
We shall now be having a book club once a week to talk about their books of interest.
The library will be visiting on a Wednesday every four weeks.
Boots "N" Strings visited
Boots "N" Strings visited Hampton Grove the other day blasting out some old song which the residents joined in and danced too.
