Activities at Hampton Grove Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Happy 100th Birthday Iris

A “happy-go-lucky” centenarian has been sent 500 cards on her special birthday.

Hampton Grove care home resident, who celebrated her big birthday on March 7, was surprised with a ‘century’ of birthday cards from her family, friends and community. “Her favourite thing to do is drinking tea. She’s always saying, ‘can I have a cuppa?’ – that’s her catchphrase.” Happy Birthday Iris from everyone at Hampton Grove. Thank you to all that sent Iris a Birthday Card she was thrilled.

New residents gift!

Here at Hampton Grove Care Home, creating a person centered environment is key to the care we provide. It’s important to us that all our residents are at the heart of what we do from the moment they step through the front door. That is why we have started our new gift initiative. For every new resident, they receive a personalised gift from our manager, Krzysztof, on their first day. Charlotte joined us recently and was greeted by Krzysztof and the rest of the team with a beautiful bunch of flowers and a special pin. Charlotte had spent much of her adult life working as a nurse in the NHS, so was given her very own nurses pin to wear with pride around the home.
