Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Sherwood Court Care Home
Remembrance Day
Residents enjoyed a lovely remembrance service that was conducted by Rev Jane Wild to mark the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War One. They also enjoyed hearing 'The Last Post' played on a trumpet.
For the Love of Music
Residents enjoyed a visit from the lovely Holly; she played some beautiful tunes on her African harp, which was very peaceful and relaxing for residents.
Coffee Morning
Residents enjoyed a singalong with the lovely Carol Scadding, which was followed by cake and coffee.
Zoolab
We were recently joined by Zoolab, who brought with them a plethora of adorable animals for residents and staff to make a fuss of.
Summer Fair
Residents, guests and staff members had a wonderful time at our summer fair. Thanks to everyone who made it such a huge success!
10 Years of Service
Senior Care Assistant, Lesia Holden, recently received her 10 year Long Service Award here at Sherwood Court. Well done, Lisa!
