Meet the Sherwood Court Care Home Team
Our wonderful team comprises nurses, carers, activities coordinators, chefs, housekeepers and more. These people are here to ensure that residents enjoy their time at the home and are supported to live life to the fullest. Meet some of our staff below:

Elizabeth Brotherton
Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I am the General Manager here at Sherwood Court. Welcome to our webpage!
I have worked within elderly care since 1995 and I am very passionate about improving standards of care for people living within our home. I am a hands-on manager, promoting and expecting high standards of care for those we support. I have managed various services over the last 10 years and am driven by the belief that every person matters.

Wendy Driver
Hi, my name is Wendy Driver and I am the Deputy Manager at Sherwood Court, formerly Unit Manager on Memory Lane. I have been an RMN since 2010 and joined Sherwood Court in 2017. I enjoy working here, as I have always been passionate about supporting people who are living with dementia.

Alexandra Pindaru
I am a Registered Nurse here at Sherwood Court. I have worked here since 2015 and I enjoy making a difference to other people’s lives by providing them with high quality care and support.

Annamkutty Mouzhikulam
My name is Anna and I work at Sherwood Court as a Registered Nurse. I have worked here for 2 years but have worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. I love caring for our residents and making a difference to their lives.

Heather Newman
I am the Administrator here at Sherwood Court, but have previously worked in post as the Admin Assistant. I support the General Manager on a daily basis and maintain the administrative and financial systems within the home. I enjoy coming to work to see the difference all our staff make to residents' lives. I am always happy to welcome visitors into our home and help those struggling to find a suitable care home for their loved one.

Emma Powers
Hi, my name is Emma. I joined the activity team here at Sherwood Court in January 2021. Previously ex forces in the military since then I’ve worked in care for 21 years. I am a people person I enjoy music and sharing positive energy. I love to create long lasting memories for the residents. I’m glad to be part of a friendly and welcoming team.

Hayley Keating
Hi, my name is Hayley Keating and I joined the team in June 2022 as an activities coordinator. I am a bubbly creative person, thrives in working as part of a team and making people smile.
I have a passion for giving back to the community and a veteran of 12-years’ service as a chef in the Royal Logistics Corps. I look forward to getting to know our residents and developing a life enrichment programme to meet their interests and hobbies and using my skills and knowledge to adapt to the new role.
I look forward to welcoming you to our home.

Gary Anson
My name is Gary Anson and I am the Head Chef at Sherwood Court.
I have been a Chef for over 30 years. Our hospitality team take pride in providing seasonal home cooked food to our residents and offering a wide choice of nutritional and quality food.

Lee Riley
Hi, my name is Lee and I am the Head of Maintenance here at Sherwood Court and also at Sherwood Lodge. One of the best perks of working in a care environment is that you're helping residents and families and trying to make their lives a little bit easier. Knowing that you make a difference to their day provides a real sense of achievement.

Lynn Cornwell
Hi, my name is Lynn Cornwell and I am the Admin Assistant here at Sherwood Court. I previously worked as Senior Carer on our nursing unit. I love making a difference to residents' lives and ensuring that they get the best quality care. I am a very happy and welcoming employee and a great team player.
Alicia Thorpe
My name is Alicia Thorpe and I have worked for Sherwood Court for 4 years. I started here as a Care Assistant and have worked my way up to be a Care Practitioner. The thing I love about my job is that every day is different and I know that I am making a difference to the lives of vulnerable people.

Patsy Kilpatrick
I have worked at Sherwood Court since 2007 as a care assistant. I thoroughly enjoy my job and I am fully committed to supporting our residents. I am a very caring and passionate person who takes great pride in providing the best care for the vulnerable.

Mandy Msimanga
I have worked at Sherwood Court since 2014 as a healthcare assistant. Making residents smile is my favourite part of the job. I am really passionate about what I do, and the difference I can make to the lives of those we support.

Carol Bidwell
My name is Carol and I am the 2nd Chef at Sherwood Court. I have worked in Care Homes for the last 18 years. I love working in a team and I am very passionate about my job. I want to provide the best meals and snacks for our residents.

Mark Cornwell
My name is Mark and I am the Maintenance Assistant at Sherwood Court.I joined Barchester in October 2017 and, before I started here, I worked for the water industry for 30 years in auditing and health & safety. This is my first time working in a care home and I'm looking forward to the new challenge ahead and being part of a good team.

Rebecca Pritchard
Hi, my name is Rebecca and I have worked at Sherwood Court for 9 years. I have worked in the Kitchen department but currently work as a Housekeeping Assistant. I love making the home a clean and tidy place to live for our residents.
