Hi, my name is Simon Twist. I am the Deputy Manager at Sherwood Court. 

I am a highly experienced Registered Nurse with over 35 years in healthcare, including roles in intensive care, nursing home leadership, and clinical education. I have held multiple management positions, demonstrating strength in staff development, governance, and quality improvement. 

I am passionate about creating nurturing care environments and providing top-quality care.

My name is Anna and I work at Sherwood Court as a Registered Nurse. I have worked here for 2 years but have worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. I love caring for our residents and making a difference to their lives.

My name is Gary Anson and I am the Head Chef at Sherwood Court.

I have been a Chef for over 30 years. Our hospitality team take pride in providing seasonal home cooked food to our residents and offering a wide choice of nutritional and quality food.

My name is Alicia Thorpe and I have worked for Sherwood Court for 4 years. I started here as a Care Assistant and have worked my way up to be a Care Practitioner. The thing I love about my job is that every day is different and I know that I am making a difference to the lives of vulnerable people.

I have worked at Sherwood Court since 2014 as a healthcare assistant. Making residents smile is my favourite part of the job. I am really passionate about what I do, and the difference I can make to the lives of those we support.

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I have worked at Sherwood Court for 9 years. I have worked in the Kitchen department but currently work as a Housekeeping Assistant. I love making the home a clean and tidy place to live for our residents.

I am a Registered Nurse here at Sherwood Court. I have worked here since 2015 and I enjoy making a difference to other people’s lives by providing them with high quality care and support. 

Hi, my name is Lynn Cornwell and I am the Home Administrator here at Sherwood Court. I previously worked as Senior Carer on our nursing community.

I love making a difference to residents' lives and ensuring that they get the best quality care. I am a very happy and welcoming employee and a great team player.

My name is Mark and I am the Head of Maintenance at Sherwood Court.I joined Barchester in October 2017 and before I started here, I worked for the water industry for 30 years in auditing and health & safety. This is my first time working in a care home and I am enjoying to the challenge ahead and being part of a good team.

I have worked at Sherwood Court since 2007 as a care assistant. I thoroughly enjoy my job and I am fully committed to supporting our residents. I am a very caring and passionate person who takes great pride in providing the best care for the vulnerable.

My name is Carol and I am the 2^nd Chef at Sherwood Court. I have worked in Care Homes for the last 18 years. I love working in a team and I am very passionate about my job. I want to provide the best meals and snacks for our residents.
