Activities at Sherwood Court Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Sherwood Court Care Home

Games Afternoon

Residents of Sherwood Court got into the competitive spirit for a traditional games afternoon. Everyone experienced a blast from the past as they took part in a giant game of bowling, table tennis and firm favourite, the parachute, with residents thinking up their best tactics to try to win their games. It was a fun-filled afternoon for everyone!

Live Entertainment

The fabulous Emelina Jones entertained our residents and staff singing their all-time favourite songs!

Coffee Morning with the Local Community

Staff and residents attended the weekly coffee morning at our local church hall. They enjoyed a coffee and cake and a chat with other local residents.

Arts and Crafts

Residents at Sherwood Court enjoyed an arts and crafts session. They enjoyed colouring the Scottish flags in preparation for our celebration of Burns Night.
