General Manager

Hi, my name is Karen, and I am the General Manager here at Sutton Grange. Welcome to our website.

I qualified as a mental health nurse in 2010, and since then have always worked within the private sector, firstly as a nurse, then unit manager, and eventually as a home manager and regional manager.

Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked in administration management and spent 10 years in education, working with young people who struggled with social, emotional and behavioural skills. I have a keen interest in studying emotional intelligence and enjoy personal study looking into various mental health therapies.

I am proud and privileged to have had the opportunity to nurse and care for our elderly generation, and I hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
