Activities at Sherwood Court Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Fresh air and a walk to Asda

Today at Sherwood Court, we took some of our residents for a walk in the fresh air up to our local Asda. We were looking for gifts for one of our expecting carers. Everyone loved looking around the baby clothes. We got back in time just for lunch, then Abi paid us a visit and sang some old tunes for us. The sing a long was amazing, music brings so much joy.

Entertainment from 'Wild Bill'

This afternoon at Sherwood Court we had an entertainer called WILD BILL. He was very entertaining with his hip thrusts and wild music for the country. He gave us some line dancing lessons a quiz, and arm exercises. After all of that we all needed a sit down with a drink. Staff and family members all enjoyed taking part and fun was had by all! A new experience for some residents and staff but all would like Wild Bill back for more.
