Activities at Mount Vale Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from PAT dogs, entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Mount Vale Care Home
Fun Exercise
Marie enjoyed doing some chair exercise on Memory Line. Light exercise is a great way to keep residents active and, best of all, it's fun!
Games in the Garden
Resident, Jean, had been enjoying some games in the garden when he suddenly decided to check on our veg plot!

Muddy Puddle Walk
We had kids from the local Rosedene Nursery stop by to take part in the Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Walk for 'Save the Children'. As you can see, there were no muddy puddles in sight – just beautiful sunshine. Residents loved seeing the children and talking to them.
Stand up to Cancer
We hosted a bake sale in aid of 'Stand up to Cancer'. Shona, our Receptionist, organised this event and baked so many cakes. Lots of our staff joined in and also baked, so we ended up with a huge amount of sweet treats. We managed to raise over £185.
Pet Therapy
We recently had a visit from Aquafinatic Pet Therapy and, as you can see, everyone loved welcoming the cute little creatures into the home.
