Activities at Mount Vale Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from PAT dogs, entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Mount Vale Care Home
Bellringers of All Saints' Church
Mount Vale Home hosted the Hand Bellringers of All Saints' Church, Northallerton, North Yorkshire. The residents enjoyed this special performance and look forward to hear them play again at Christmas time.
Celebrating 10 Years
We celebrated Senior Carer, Vicky Hoggett's, 10 year at Barchester recently, and she received a Barchester long service award badge, a bunch of beautiful flowers and £250 in shopping vouchers.
Vicky is pictured here with our General Manager, Helen Lewis, and our Head of Elderly Frail Unit, Sue Rowley. Vicky was thrilled to receive the award.

Little Visitors
Children from the local Rosedene Nursery joined us to make Easter eggs with residents.
Birthday Bash
Resident, Jennie, celebrated her birthday here at Mount Vale. Jennie had a lovely day and especially loved her cake.
Pancake Day
The children from Rosedene Nursery joined us to take part in a pancake race in recognition of Shrove Tuesday. The children and residents both absolutely loved taking part in this activity.
