Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Life at Hampton Grove Care Home
Rutland Farm Park
Yesterday some of our residents took a trip out to Rutland Farm Park. They enjoyed the day getting to pet a plethora of animals including goats, guinea pigs, horses and pig's. They stopped off for a picnic at lunch time and even spent some time in the playground!
CQC rating of 'GOOD'
Today staff and residents here at Hampton Grove celebrated received a 'GOOD' on our latest CQC inspection. General manager Krzysztof took the opportunity to congratulate all his staff for all the hard work they've been putting in over the last year. Everyone celebrated with a buffet organised by the activities and hospitality teams. Congratulations Hampton Grove Team!
Wedding Reception!
Today we threw a little wedding reception for our residents to celebrate Activities team member, Debs', wedding last month. They got to look through all of the wedding photos and the fun she got up to in Turkey while enjoying a cupcake and a cheeky glass of bubby!
New garden furniture
The residents and staff have been busy this week building new furniture for the garden. They got their tools out and worked together to build these lovely garden sets so everyone can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. After a day’s hard work they threated themselves to some well-deserved ice cream!
Baytree garden centre
On the 2nd August we took a trip out to Baytree garden centre. We enjoyed walking around all the plants and even did a little shopping. We stopped for a lovely picnic and enjoyed tea and cake before finishing off looking at the gift shop. The residents had a lovely time looking at the birds, bunny rabbits and fish in the pet section!
Lincolnshire's Tropical Bird Land
We enjoyed a trip out to Lincolnshire's Tropical Bird Land where the residents got to enjoy seeing a wide range birds from parrots to flamingos. Our residents got to experience feeding and holding these beautiful birds and one even joined in on our lunch time picnic!
