Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

I joined the Chorleywood Beaumont team in 2023 an activities coordinator lead. I have worked in the care sector for over 9 years and I have been a wellbeing Activities lead for over 2 years. In this time I continue to build a great knowledge of skills and experience in providing and implementing a variety of activities to cater and support for all needs. Suiting each individual, supporting the mind body and soul. I am passionate about my role here at Chorleywood Beaumont, providing person centred support and caring for the wellbeing of everyone. I am a people person and I love putting a smile on our resident’s faces. It is so rewarding and makes me happy.

Here at Chorleywood Beaumont we love to celebrate.
Friday afternoon birthday party for Vera was an event to complete the week with singing, dancing and entertainment with the wonderful David Brierley

Who says "once you older only thing to look forward to is a cup of tea" Not the residents at Chorleywood Beaumont, they are living life everyday because life is full of enjoyment, companionship and laughter!

Chorleywood Beaumont General Manager, Ramona joins residents in our beautiful conservatory restaurant for a glass of Wine, Sherry or a fresh fruit juice with Friday’s Favorite beer batter fish and chips and of course mushy peas and tartar sauce.

International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth.
The theme for the 2022 ICN resource is - Nurses: A Voice to Lead - Invest in Nursing and respect rights to secure global health.
Residents and team members at Chorleywood Beaumont celebrated International Nurses' Day with a lovely party and a presentation to say thank you!

Sing a long at Chorleywood.
The Chorleywood Beaumont Songsters were is full voice today singing all our favorite songs led by Merri. We did a special version of "I'm forever blowing bubbles" with special effects especially for John our "West Ham Man." John said "The song always reminds me of my Dad, as he passed on his love of West Ham Football club to me."
