Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Tina Stovey

Activities Lead /Diversity Champion

I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

Barbara was born on 17th July 1919 in India to Douglas and Annie Mason. Anne met her husband, Gordon, at the age of 15 and they began their life together. They travelled all over the world together and had four wonderful children, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Anne and Gordon were married for 72 years until he passed away in 2015 whilst also living at Bushey House. We would like to wish Anne a very happy 100th birthday!
